Why A Hotel
The easiest way
to host a crowd.
Everyone sleeps where they celebrate
Rooms for the whole party, breakfast together the morning after, and nobody arranging a taxi at one in the morning. For a guest list with grandparents and small children, this is usually the deciding factor.
The infrastructure already exists
Kitchens, staff, power, air conditioning, a wet-weather room and a licence. A hotel absorbs two hundred people without a marquee, a generator or a hired kitchen appearing on your budget.
One contract, one accountable party
Venue, catering, bar, accommodation and often the spa and the welcome dinner sit on a single contract. Fewer suppliers is fewer things that can move.
Rates we hold, not rack rates
We block rooms before they are released and negotiate the group rate. Your guests book through a link at a price they would not get on a booking site.
Hotels we
work with.
Ask For The Full ListOur hotel list is held privately rather than published — rates and availability move too quickly for a public page to be honest about either. Tell us your numbers and dates and we will send the hotels that genuinely fit, with real figures.
Worth knowing
before you sign.
Exclusive use is a separate conversation
Most hotels will not close for one wedding, but many will give you a private wing, a private beach section or a dedicated wedding area. Ask precisely what "private" means before you sign — we always do.
Minimum spends and room blocks
The venue fee is often waived against a minimum spend or a number of room nights. That can be excellent value or an expensive trap, depending on your guest list. We model both before you commit.
One wedding a day, or three?
Some resorts run several weddings a day in different corners. That is not necessarily a problem — but you should know it, and know where the other party will be at seven in the evening.
The menu is rarely the final menu
Hotel packages start from a standard menu. Tastings, substitutions and a chef who will actually cook what you want are all negotiable, and worth negotiating.
